Safety Bell / Bear Bell with #1 sized bell

I love everything about these products. I purchased several bells at Christmas time last year, tied one bell to each of my three grandchildren as package ties. I had a dear friend who took care of our dog when I was with my husband after his heart attack last fall. I wanted to thanks her and gave her one of the Safety Bells. She loved it and has hooked it onto her cookbook stand and it looks great. I have since put one on my cookbook stand. These products are nice no matter what the occasion. You don’t need to spend a fortune to say thanks.

My wife hikes more than I do and does a lot of geocaching. After seeing the quality of these bells (see my other review) I decided to buy her a nice brass safety bell of her own to replace the tin "bear bell" she's been using. These safety bells really are wonderful. I swapped out the bell on mine because I wanted a different tone but I'm going to leave hers with the standard bell so we have different sounds when we're out hiking together.

I purchased all of the bells for gifts, some for package ties and the large ones as stand alone gifts. They are such nice quality and great service.

When you're in the woods it's a good idea to let large critters such as bears know you're in the area so you don't accidentally get to close and spook them. The safety bell surely fits the bill in that regard. Well constructed, good looking and nice sound (comes with a #1 bell). The swivel snap is made to last. I highly recommend it. I did change the bell from a #1 to a #2 and I like it even better. The #1 was a little high pitched for me. I tested a #3 as well and I thought it was a little to loud when attached to my pack. I would certainly recommend the safety bell as is but I think it's even better with the #2 bell. Definitely get one.

I bought these for my backpack..love the jingle in my walk...such a head turner......my plan is to keep them on year 'round...another great product.

Love these bells, received a door hanger, the horse, the sound that it makes is fantastic. Had to purchase some for friends so they can enjoy them too! Can't wait to hear from my friend in Montana after she hears the bells for the saddle and how they sound when riding In the mountains. Safety and Great sound!!!

Our Lab loves to trek through the woods and sometimes decides to explore on her own. We hope this bell will help us keep better track of her. Appreciate the quality of this product and I'm sure it will outlive us all.
