Exactly what I needed to track my dog

I am much more comfortable letting my Walker Coonhound run off leash since I've attached the bells to her harness. I have a "high tech" device with GPS monitoring but this is my "low tech" device for close brush hunting that she does.

    Beautiful bells

I bought this bell to hike with during hunting season. My hope is that even if hunters don't see the orange vest they will at least hear the bell ringing. I clipped it to my fanny pack and it rings as I walk, but I actually shake it on and off as I walk too--just to make extra sure I'm making a lot of noise. This is a high quality product and extremely well made. I would recommend it--and the bells I bought for my dogs--to everyone.

I'm constantly being asked: 'where did you get that bell?'

I live in a very remote, rural, forested area near Mt. Rainier Nat'l Park, I walk and hike the roads and trails with my goats several times a week. I wanted something I could wear on my person or backpack that would announce my presence without being intrusive to my surroundings. New England Bells have the nicest tone to them, I've ordered bells for my 2 Alpine goats, I bought them each a Dog Collar Bell, in two different sizes so their 'ring' is distinctive to each goat. Like their website says: 'the bells emit a sound that is easily heard from a distance, even in thick grasses', I can honestly say this is true. I recently finished 30 miles of the PCT in Washington State with 2 other women and they too have bought their own New England Safety Bells because they could hear my bell and knew where I was on the trail. You won't find a better quality, handmade bell anywhere, the craftsmanship is excellent.
