This bell is top quality and loud! Just what you need in the woods. It can be tied to the D-Ring with the included leather tie but the 1" wide leather loop (hunting dog collar bell) makes the bell ring even louder! These bells will last a lifetime.

I bought this with a #3 bell to make up my own four position bell strap. I had some #1 and #2 bells kicking around and I wanted a strap with four different bells on it (#1 thru #4) so I placed a special order for just a leather strap with no bells on it and some bell clips. Sandy was great in helping me to get this ordered. The sound of the four different bells on the strap is really nice and I'm so glad I decided to give this idea a try. When I first put the bells on the strap I had #1 near the ring and #4 at the bottom. In this configuration the #4 bell seemed almost to loud so I reversed the order and put #4 at the top and #1 at the bottom. It sounds so much better to me this way. I love quality bells and these are definitely great quality. Keep up the great quality and great customer service NE Bells!

I use the bells with my mom who has dementia. She loves to shop and I try to let her be independent, so when I'm out of sight she can always hear me clear as a bell! And this time of year everyone stops and looks for me as I'm walking....the sound of the bells bring to mind the joy of the season.And I love that they are made IN THE USA!!! I bought this for me, to put on my backpack.Each step I take gives me a familiar ring. The sound is clear, sharp and distinctive. I t calms me as I work into work, and lightens my step as I leave. It opens the door to conversations about tradition and workmanship and simpler times.

I use the #4 bell on my GSP pup, Quinebaug's Rocket Van Mauser, for bird hunting. The tone of the bell is not fatiguing, and carries well through thick ruffed grouse territory. The closed bell prevents snow and mud clogging. It's the best dog bell I have used in my 30 years of bird dog hunting.

I bought 6 # 4 bells to make a belt of Santa Reindeer bells. The sound is amazing and they look very authentic. I am Very happy with them and the young lady who answered my call was very helpful and even rang each bell for me over the phone so I could chose the right size and sound... She was very helpful...
